If you can't sell a record, sell a baby. Or the rumor of one. Here's Ashlee Simpson in NYC, enjoying every minute of the is she/isn't she pregnancy question. Hence the cloak of secrecy. The newly engaged to Pete Wentz singer made an appearance on MTV's TRL and decided to act all insulted when the question of her possible pregnancy came up. She deemed it "inappropriate."

Pete and Ashlee made this video back in February. In it they joke about pregnancy, and Ashlee is shot with a fake baby belly. Foreshadowing! In other awesome news, Ashlee's sister Jessica is reportedly bullshit that Ashlee might be shooting out a kid first.

"Jessica never imagined that her tom-boy younger sister would have a baby first," a source explains. "It would be very hard for her not to be jealous."

Damn right. Jessica hates being overshadowed. She's going to start trolling the playgrounds looking for a baby to steal because you know Tony Romo is not going to give her that sort of gift. He's a dumb jock, but he's not that dumb to buy into that family via his semen.

Reese Witherspoon Shows Her Face To The World

Here's Hollywood power player Reese Witherspoon out for coffee and sans makeup. There's nothing wrong with letting those pores breathe. Reese and her man Jake Gyllenhaal met up with annoying Cameron Diaz and her new beau Gerard Butler for wine and appies the other night.

The couples laughed it up at the Chateau Marmont until 3 AM. Cameron was all over Gerard so he would keep his eyes off less annoying girls and kept gripping his hand under the table so he couldn't escape. He should have switched his hand with Jake's. Then again, Jake probably would have been like "ugh, girls!" and spit at it.

Reese and Jake were reportedly not as into the PDA thing as the other two. They're a little more mature. Or it's a fag and hag situation. Nevertheless, I would take those two over Cameron Diaz and whoever she's rubbing herself on any day.

Mariah Carey Letting Nick Cannon Pry His Way Into That Dress

Mariah Carey might be letting Nick Cannon into the unicorn palace in her butterfly kingdom. The two hung out at Prive nightclub in Vegas the other night and have been spotted hanging out a lot together lately.

Nick was deejaying and Mariah shook her vacuum-packed ass to the music and ate chicken and burgers. That dress is going to snap off her and kill a bitch if she keeps eating that and wearing those too-small dresses.

Her best friend Da Brat accompanied Mariah, and they celebrated Brat's birthday. Nick gave Mariah a shout-out during his set. When he played Jay-Z's "Public Service Announcement", he sang along with the "I got the hottest chick in the game" lyric and motioned towards the Lamb Queen. Mariah reportedly raised her wineglass in his direction.

I don't know about this couple. Any man trying to add to her charm bracelet needs to be prepped for high maintenance and that level of maintenance might be over his service level.

Eva Longoria is so airbrushed in these pics that they've actually changed her into a different person. Seriously, they've altered her facial features. Why didn't they just get someone else entirely? Eva is the face of Bebe's new summer and swimwear collection. Or at least some other actress named "Eva Longoria" is.

Eva isn't concerned by any of this. She's feeling the love. Despite frequent separations due to their career, Eva and her NBA star husband Tony Parker are trying to keep it going. For her birthday, he organized an elaborate party and scavenger hunt based on Eva's favorite board game Clue. Wait, how many birthday parties did she have?

Tony had actors playing the characters from Clue escort Eva on the hunt, and then to a castle where there was a birthday dinner and a real life Clue game. The boyfriend needs to get on the stick! This sounds like a hot party! My birthday's in June and I want to get tanked with the bitches from Candy Land!

Tony showed up to the party dressed as his team mascot from the Spurs.

"In walks the Spurs coyote...but it's Tony in the coyote costume! He was hot, he was sweating, he was in love with his wife," said a partygoer. Awww, that ho should write for Hallmark.
