Posh: I will not leave you, David

Worried Victoria Beckham is moving to Milan

Victoria Beckham’s decided not to take any chances. Rather than worrying about what husband David, 33, will get up to while she’s not around, she’s decided to go with him to Italy after all.

Instead of visits, Victoria, 34, will now join David for his whole time on loan to AC Milan. ‘It’ll be for two months – after the season finishes here in LA, David will go to train in Milan,’ she revealed last week.

But a close friend tells Now: ‘Victoria wants to make sure David’s a good boy, without a repeat of what went wrong when he lived in Spain.’

Insiders hope the decision will let us see a happier Posh as she’s looked tired since David made his deal with AC Milan.

Victoria Beckham plans for David's move to Milan

Posh intends to spend much of her time in Italian fashion capital with her husband.

Victoria Beckham has devised a strategy to help her cope with husband David’s move to Italy in January.

The 33-year-old footballer is on loan to Italian club AC Milan for at least 2 months, and Posh, 34, has been worried about the disruption it will cause to her and their 3 sons – Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 3.

Now she has a plan to ease her fears, which includes extended visits to Milan and impromptu ‘check-ins’ on David.

‘She felt she had to take control of the situation,’ a source tells Now. ‘Having a plan that allowed her to be with David frequently, but still work on her career, was crucial for her.

‘She now aims to spend at least 8 days at a time in Milan. David will only have a few hours’ notice of Victoria’s arrival, so he won’t be too happy about that.’

She will also be making appointments to see fashion editors in Milan and attending fashion shows around Europe, so she’ll always be close by to keep an eye on her handsome husband.

David Beckham's gay pride

David Beckham was "proud" to be called the gayest straight and blackest white man in Britain.

The Los Angeles Galaxy soccer star embraces the views of him as a fashion icon who is in touch with his feminine side.

When asked about being labelled the "gayest straight man in Britain and the blackest white man" David said: "Yes, I like that. When someone said that about me, it made me laugh and I was quite proud of it.

"To have that kind of effect on so many different people around the world, I was honoured. When people talk to me about being a gay icon I think of it as a great honour."

David attracted a new group of fans after wearing a sarong in 1998, admitting he used nail varnish and being interviewed by gay magazine 'Attitude'.

The 33-year-old sportsman insists he doesn't regret any of his fashion choices.

He added to GQ magazine: "If I see something I like I wear it. No matter what I think people are going to say about me. I don't do it for a statement, I do it because I like wearing different things."

David Beckham's private jet

David Beckham is planning to splash out on a £7 million jet so he can travel between his European soccer commitments and US-based family.

The 33-year-old star, who is rumoured to be joining Italian soccer team AC Milan on an eight-week loan from his current team Los Angeles Galaxy, is contemplating purchasing a luxury Bombardier Learjet so he can spend as much time as possible with wife Victoria and their three sons - Brooklyn, nine, Romeo, six, and Cruz, three - who will remain in America.

A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "He's going to have to sacrifice a lot by moving back to Europe in January. The only thing we can think of is if he either buys or rents his own jet for a couple of months.

"He'll be able to fly back to Los Angeles between games and meet up with the family. It might cost a bit but you can't put a price on time with your children."

David plans to sign the short-term contract because his US Major Soccer League season is over and he is desperate to remain fit to play in England's World Cup qualifying matches.

He is adamant Victoria supports his decision to move to Europe, despite reports the transfer could put their nine-year marriage under pressure.

David said: "Wherever I play and whatever I do in my career, she'll support me. Just because I'm playing in Europe it doesn't mean the whole family must again re-route."

It is believed Victoria would prefer David to join English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur, so they can be near their extended family in the UK.

The soccer star has reportedly already found a multi-million pound penthouse to stay at in Italy, with the help of AC Milan captain Paolo Maldini and says he is "hopeful" the move will go ahead.

Victoria Beckham offered £10 million for new documentary

Italian Prime Minister keen to capitalise on David Beckham's move to Milan

Victoria Beckham has been offered £10 million to shoot a documentary on her husband's move to Milan.

The style queen, 34, has been approached by businessman/politician Silvio Berlusconi, after it was revealed David Beckham, 33, is to be loaned to Italian football club AC Milan.

The Italian Prime Minister, 72, is keen to show the couple arriving,house-hunting and settling in to the city – similar to the ill-fated programme Victoria Beckham: Coming To America, which she made about her move to LA.

‘It will be similar in format to the US documentary last year but this time, the budget is absolutely huge,’ a source tells The Mirror. ‘It will be really polished, professional production.

‘With Silvio 100 per cent behind the project, as part of his vision to expand the AC Milan brand, it really will be no holds barred,’ the insider reveals.

‘Berlusconi is desperate to get Posh on board and will pull out all the stops to make sure it happens.’

Victoria Beckham has yet to comment on whether she will move to Milan permanently.

Beckham marriage problems?

David and Victoria Beckham's marriage is under pressure, according to friends.

The celebrity couple - who moved to America last year after David signed a multi-million pound deal with soccer team Los Angeles Galaxy - are said to be spending increasing amounts of time apart as they pursue their own interests.

David, 33, is reportedly desperate to return to European soccer, while Victoria, 34, is determined to increase her profile by staying in the US.

A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "David has to move back to Europe if he wants to continue to play international football. Victoria still believes they can make it big in America, but she fears a move back to Europe could kill off their Hollywood future for ever."

It has been claimed David's proposed loan deal with a Spanish or Italian team this winter could be "the straw which break's the camel's back".

The new claims come shortly after David - who has been married to the former Spice Girl for nine years - admitted he and Victoria find it tough being under constant scrutiny.

He said: "We have quite a lot of pressure, honestly, as a couple. But we've had that since we first started going out, so we've got used to it over the years. We have a way of working through it by looking out for each other."

However, their three sons - Brooklyn, nine, Romeo, six and three-year-old Cruz - help put their troubles in perspective.

David added: "Having children around takes all the pressure away. Either of us could have had the worst day at work, but it doesn't matter because then you come home and see your sons smiling."

David and Victoria Beckham's housekeepers arrested for 'theft'

Mrs Beckham's parents contacted police after recognising items offered for sale on an internet auction site.

They went to the multi-million pound home in Sawbridgeworth, Herts and discovered that identical items belonging to the England footballer and his pop star wife were missing.

Officers from Hertfordshire Police arrested the housekeepers, a couple aged in their 50s, at their home in Nazeing, Essex on Friday. They were questioned and bailed to return to Hoddesdon police station on November 22, pending further investigation.

The Beckhams currently reside in Los Angeles, where David plays for the LA Galaxy team, and employ a retinue of staff to tend the Sawbridgeworth property while they are away. The seven-bedroom house, known as 'Beckingham Palace', cost the couple £2.5 million in 1999 and they have spent millions more turning it into their dream home.

A source said that Mrs Beckham's parents, Tony and Jackie Adams, recognised the allegedly stolen items immediately because many of them were unique.
"They were most personal and sentimental items collected by Victoria and David during their time abroad. Some of the things were given to them as presents and are unique because they were specially made for them. They include mostly small but expensive trinkets and some pieces which were on decorative display. Together they add up to quite a high value," the source said.

"It seems that the property was being offered on the website to the highest bidder - and obviously it may have had the Beckham pedigree attached."

A Herts Police spokesman said: "We are currently investigating an allegation of theft from a private address in Sawbridgeworth. A 56-year-old woman from Essex and a 55-year-old man, also from Essex, have been arrested in connection with this incident and are currently on police bail."

A spokesman for the Beckhams was unavailable for comment.

David Beckham Talks of Marriage 'Pressure'

David Beckham has confessed that he and wife Victoria are "under pressure" as married couple -- but insists their three sons and her long legs take it away.

"We have quite a lot of pressure, honestly, as a couple," said the 33-year-old LA Galaxy soccer star. "But I think having our children around takes all the pressure away.

"Either of us could have had the worst day at work, but it doesn't matter because then you come home and see your sons smiling.

"There are pressures on us as a couple, but we've had that since we first started going out, so we got used to it over the years.

"We have a way of working through it by looking out for each other."

David -- who says he wants his three children to lead as normal a life as possible -- also told Britain's OK! magazine what first attracted him to his fashionable wife.

He said, "Her legs!

"She was in the Spice Girls when I first saw her and she used to wear these miniskirts and everyone used to say: 'Who’s your favorite Spice Girl?'

"I'd always say: 'The one with the bob, the one with the legs.'

"And that was my answer – all because she had these amazing legs."

Rep: Victoria, David Beckham were not involved in car crash

Reports claiming that David and Victoria Beckham were involved in a "terrifying car crash" on Friday in France have been dismissed as false by the Spice Girl's spokeswoman.

"There was no car crash," Cheryl Maisel told the New York Daily News, after reports surfaced on several Web sites Sunday, claiming that the Beckhams vehicle struck a wall en-route from their holiday home in the French Riviera to Nice Airport. According to reports, Victoria was left in tears as David departed for his appearance at the Beijing Olympics closing ceremony.

Claims that the couple's black BMW was spotted with a smashed windscreen and extensive damage along the passenger side were, according to Maisel, overblown.

"David and Victoria Beckham were driving a car that had been scratched the day before when it had been left parked at the airport - they were not involved in any accident at all. There was no police, no crash, no paparazzi chase, etc. - just very incorrect reports via Internet gossip sites," she said.

Victoria is expected to leave France for New York next week to attend Fashion Week, which kicks off on Sept. 5.

David Beckham marked the beginning of London 2012

In probably the biggest free kick of his life, David Beckham marked the beginning of London 2012 on Sunday as Beijing said goodbye to the Olympic Games.

With singing sensation Leona Lewis and rock icon Jimmy Page watching on, the LA Galaxy star fired a football into the crowd at the Bird's Nest stadium. After a mad scramble, it was picked up by one of the Chinese officials, who couldn't stop smiling at his luck.

The shot was the finishing touch to an impressive display of British talent to mark the Olympics coming to London in four years time.

Just moments before, The X Factor winner Leona and Jimmy had rocked the Games' closing ceremony with a thumping version of Whole Lotta Love. The pair emerged from out the top of a red London bus, the focal point for the dancing and singing, to tower over the crowd.

The entertainment began when London Mayor Boris Johnson received the Olympic Flag from his Beijing counterpart. The normally exuberant politician looked humbled yet proud as he waved the colours in front of the stadium – and the worldwide audience.

Then, as the emblematic Greenwich Time Signal rang out, London started the party that won't stop until 2012.

Is David Beckham already a Scientologist?

Signs spark claims that Tom's successfully recruited Becks in LA

Ever since the Beckhams moved to LA, fanatical Tom Cruise has been desperate to recruit them to Scientology. And as David’s star rises Stateside, Tom is upping his efforts to an all-time high.

Superstar Tom, 46, is now Scientologist chief David Miscavige’s right-hand man, in charge of recruitment and advertising for the organisation.

David, 33, and Victoria's spokesman told us that Posh and Becks have no intention or inclination to join the cult but Tom has already successfully recruited other celebs.

Will Smith has funded a school that teaches Scientology and when Tom was dating Penélope Cruz, he coaxed her into going to meetings.

Last October, David said: ‘We respect their religion. We respect everything they do and believe in. But they have never turned around to us and said: “You have to be a part of this”, because that’s not what they’re about.’

But has the soccer star changed his mind?

According to a website that exposes members truthaboutscientology.com, a 'David Beckham' has studied OT level 3, which if part of Scientology's secret 'Advanced Technology' doctrines taught only to members who've already contributed large amounts of money to the cult.

The Beckhams, The Beckinsales And Eva Longoria

http://socialitelife.celebuzz.com/images/2008/04/beckhams-katebeckinsale-longoria-beso-041708-04-thumb.jpg

"I pretty much only eat things with a caloric value that is equal to or less than the total number of fingers on my hand," Victoria told her new best buddy, Kate Beckinsale, who was both fascinated and flattered that Vicky was finally revealing her coveted diet secrets.

This imaginary conversation took place between the two ladies at a dinner to celebrate Victoria's upcoming 34th birthday. Also along for the evening were their husbands, as well as Eva Longoria. The gang hit up Eva's Hollywood restaurant Beso for the occasion.

Conspicuously absent from the soiree was celebrity power couple, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, even though Katie and Victoria have allegedly airkissed and made up. But can you really blame Vicky? Sometimes you need a night out without having to talk about aliens, spaceships and unicorns. It's get exhausting after a while.
