After kicking some ass this past weekend at the Indy Japan 300 and making history as the first woman to win an IndyCar Race, the super gorgeous Danica Patrick spent some downtime Wednesday at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival Opening Night - World Premiere of ‘Baby Mama’ at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York.
After her big win, she was quoted saying:

Carmen Electra and her boyfriend, Korn guitarist Rob Patterson, got engaged over the weekend.
“He told friends three days ago that he got engaged,” says the source. “The ring is a black diamond set in white diamonds.”
Patterson, 37, popped the question over the weekend while he and Carmen were in Las Vegas to celebrate her 36th birthday.
This will be the third marriage for Carmen, who was previously wedmarried to rocker Dave Navarro and, briefly, to NBA star Dennis Rodman.

Whoa! In a new poll, Amy Winehouse has just been voted top role model by British youths. Ummm, yeah maybe top role model of what not to do!
Amy Winehouse, whose private life has become tabloid talk in the last 12 months because of her alleged drug and drinking problems, beat out Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, Victoria Beckham and Kylie Minogue to be voted the ‘ultimate heroine.
The survey of under 25 year olds also named incarcerated U.K. rocker Pete Doherty the second most popular male hero, behind English soccer star Steven Gerrard.

Amy Winehouse and a female friend do a spot of late night shopping, having left a bar in Camden at 3.30am. Amy and her friend both have cigarettes inside the shop, despite the no smoking signs, and appear to leave without paying for a magazine. Ashton Kutcher sure looked like a hottie at the UK film premiere of ‘What Happens in Vegas…’ held at Odeon Leicester Square.
Unfortunatly his co-star Cameron Diaz couldn’t make it. As we all know her father passed away unexpectedly of pneumonia last week and according to Ashton, she is currently seeking medical attention due to all the stress of the incident. He said:
“Sadly she will not be joining us for the premiere as she has just lost her father and is under medical attention with stress at the moment. But she will be better soon.”

Ginnifer Goodwin looked gorgeous yesterday at The Metropolitan Opera Opening Night Gala at Lincoln Center in New York.
Ginnifer plays one of Bill Paxton’s three wives in HBO’s Big Love and with all the the allegations of abuse at the recently-raided polygamist compound in West Texas, it hit close to home for her.
At last night’s event, she was sure to defend the show by saying the show is fiction and its main goal is “to entertain.”
“My character does not come from that world. She’s married into a family who come from that world but are no longer a part of it. My clothes on the show are a little outdated, not my personal taste, but certainly not ‘compound chic.’ “
Nonetheless, Goodwin noted that violence and abuse is “certainly implied” in the critically acclaimed show.
“We’re acutely aware of what goes on in real life. Ours is a sugar-coated version. But we feel we are educating. We find the human story very compelling.”
