JESSICA SIMPSON is hardly Employee Of The Month in Hollywood at the moment.

Not even her captivating curves can save her now - as her latest movie heads straight for the DVD shelves.

The Dukes of Hazzard honey was lulled into a false sense of security after Major Movie Star shot to No1 at the box office in Russia earlier this month - but it's not having as much success stateside.

In a bid to boost popularity, the movie will be renamed Private Valentine: Blonde & Dangerous.

The movie tells the story of a ditzy film star who enrols in the army to earn money to pay her bills.

Jess' last film Blonde Ambition hit stores after showing in just eight Texas cinemas and earning a not so impressive $1,300.

Maybe it's time to give her country music career another go.

Accusations fly in Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s bitter divorce battle

As the accusations fly in Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s bitter divorce battle, one claim’s stung more than most.

Madonna’s always denied having anything but a friendship with Alex Rodriguez, 33, known as A-Rod, but she’s formed an emotional attachment to the baseball player.

At the same time, wild speculation has linked Guy, 40, to various women - including good friend Lauren Meek, associal producer of RocknRolla, and ex Tania Strecker, who now's married - but there's absolutely nothing going on.

The rumours have been so outrageous that the film-maker has been forced to take legal action.

‘Guy’s never once considered the possibility that Madonna would go off with someone else,’ a source close to the couple tells Now.

‘He hasn’t been seeing other people while married, although he does admit they didn’t sleep in the same bed for months. He still believes that nothing physical has happened with A-Rod either.’

Insiders say 50-year-old Madonna’s planning to introduce A-Rod to her children at a kabbalah meeting in New York in a matter of weeks. A-Rod is staying tight-lipped on the subject.

When out with Guy Oseary, the manager they share, A-Rod refused to answer photographers’ questions about Madonna. He’s divorcing his wife Cynthia, 35, and looking for a new home, leading to speculation that he plans to buy a house in the same New York neighbourhood as Madonna.

‘There’s a bond between Madonna and A-Rod based on kabbalah,’ our source adds. ‘Nothing else has happened, but he’s important to her. They could be a couple in the future – unless she looks elsewhere.’
