The singer addressed the crowds at the Annual Keep a Child Alive Black Ball on Thursday night when he playfully announced "(this) talk show is going to be called John!"

And, rest assured, it wasn't long before the subject of Jen came up.
John told People, "It's really nice to have somebody in life have your back.

"That girl knows me...so whether I go to bed alone or not, to have somebody who knows you in this world, that's a really nice thing."

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer spent the weekend at a luxury spa in Arizona.

The couple relaxed in a £2,000-a-night cottage at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley.

They even had their own outdoor Jacuzzi, home cinema and flagstone fireplace.

'Their hideaway was tucked into the mountains and was so private that you couldn't even see the driveway from the street,’ a source tells US Star.

‘Once they checked in, the couple was never seen leaving their home.'

Jennifer, 39, was first spotted out with John, 30, at the start of October, just 2 months after they split.

They returned to LA on Monday and dined out at the Sunset Tower Hotel.

Jennifer Aniston’s rekindled her romance with singer John Mayer – but friends say she’s destined to face heartbreak all over again.

The actress unexpectedly flew from LA to Boston two weeks ago, back into the arms of the man who dumped her in August.

John, 31, who was teaching a week-long masterclass at the Berklee School of Music, had dinner with Jen and four friends at Boston’s Mantra restaurant.

By the weekend the pair were heading to New York and enjoyed a romantic Saturday night meal at Il Mulino restaurant.

When they headed back to LA last Monday, the couple couldn’t keep their hands off each other and were spotted kissing as they arrived at LAX airport on a private plane.

Late on Tuesday night they headed to the Sunset Tower Hotel for dinner at the Tower Bar with three friends.

‘They left via the back of the hotel and were very discreet,’ said a source. ‘Jen was leading, but John walked closely behind her when they left.’

The renewed relationship seems like good news for unlucky-in-love Jen, 39, but it’s said to be steeped in compromises and stems from her ‘insatiable need’ to be with someone.

‘The reason John dumped her in the first place was because she was too clingy and desperate to have children,' a source tells Now.

'Somehow she’s managed to convince him that she’ll ease up on the neediness and more often be the “fun Jen” that he saw glimpses of.’

That may prove a hard promise to keep – her recent comments on her marriage to Brad Pitt reveal her longing to settle down.

‘When I got married, I thought it was for life and we’d have kids,’ she said. ‘If you’d told me when I was 25 that I’d still be unmarried and childless at 40, I’d have laughed in your face.’

The Friends star's rep denied any rumours of a pregnancy but failed to comment on the reasons behind the 'Johnnifer' reunion.

Jen's representation tells Entertainment Tonight, “Give me a break. She is NOT pregnant.”

The rumour mill has been in overdrive since Jen and John were first spotted dining at an Italian restaurant in New York.

The pair - who sparked rumours they had rekindled their romance after they were spotted passionately kissing earlier this month - enjoyed a romantic dinner at Los Angeles' Sunset Tower Hotel on Tuesday night (14.10.08), but went to great lengths to ensure they weren't pictured together.

The following morning, John was seen leaving Jennifer's Hollywood home in his black Cadillac.

Meanwhile, Jennifer's friends are reportedly concerned about her decision to patch up her relationship with John.

Her close pals - including 'Friends' co-star Courtney Cox and her husband David Arquette - believe John has no intention of pursuing a long-term relationship with the actress, and are worried he will end up hurting her again.

A source said: "Jennifer's friends are just worried that she will again be hurt by John. It's a shame she's attracted to a guy you know is not around for the long haul. John will have moved on to someone else by Christmas."

The former 'Friends' actress - who split from the 'Gravity' singer last month - is reportedly phoning John every day in a bid to show him what he is missing.

A source said: "Jennifer reached out to John first. She had a few glasses of wine - then decided to throw caution to the wind and make the first move.

Report: John Mayer Breaks Up With Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston may be dealing with heartbreak once again.

Rocker John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston have reportedly parted ways last week.

“There’s been a bit of tension for some time,” a source close to Mayer told Daily Mirror. “They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn’t seem to have worked.”

So who iniatiated the breakup? The souce explained, “John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn’t ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved.”

According to the source, rumors Aniston wanted children were not true.

“Contrary to reports, Jen didn’t want to have kids or marry this year, but she did want to set a timetable for their future together.”

Aniston apparently asked the singer to cut down his touring schedule to spend more time with her, but when he refused and told her of his decision, she was “furious.”

Pitt and Aniston divorced four years ago. Pitt recently welcomed twins with Angelina Jolie, the fifth and sixth child for the couple.

Aniston has since been linked to Vince Vaughn and model Paul Sculfor. Mayer and Aniston began dating in spring of this year.

Reps for Mayer and Aniston did not immediately return our call for comment.

It appears that the foppish singer has done gone and got himself a tattoo--a full sleeve, to be specific. He was spotted by photographers leaving Katsuya in a black, long-sleeved hoodie. Aww, he and David Beckham are twinsies now! They're like two tough peas in a pod.
