Shannen Doherty October/November Radar Magazine

shannon-doherty-radar.jpg

90210 star Shannen Doherty is the cover girl for the October/November issue of Radar Magazine. Here’s a few quotes fromt he mag:

On how it felt to be hated by the tabloids:

“I was exploring who I was as a person and testing my own boundaries and trying to be a normal 18-, 19-, 20-year-old, and I got raked over the coals. Many nights I cried myself to sleep over that stuff.”

On the worst lie she ever read about herself:

“There’ve been so many. One of those bullshit rags [wrote that I’d entered AA]. They said that I was so, quote, ’scared of the drink’ that I was sleeping on my sponsor’s couch. Now, I’ve never been in AA. I accompanied my husband to AA meetings—actually, I forced him to go to one—but I’ve never actually gone for myself. Sometimes you can find some truth, a little nugget somewhere, but not one thing about this was true … But people sell their stories and make their 500 bucks at your expense, and it’s like, ‘Wow. Really?’”

Megan Fox October 2008 GQ Magazine

megan-fox-3

megan-fox-gq-cover.jpg

In the new issue of GQ Magazine Megan Fox admits she once dated a female Russian stripper - but denies she is a lesbian.

Fox confesses that she dated the dancer after she was dumped by a former boyfriend at the age of 18 telling the mag:

”Well, that year my boyfriend broke up with me, and I decided - oh man, sorry, mommy! - that I was in love with this girl that worked at the Body Shop.

“I decided that I was going to get her to love me back, and I went out of my way to create a relationship with this girl, a stripper named Nikita.”

But Fox denies she is gay adding:

”Look, I’m not a lesbian. I just think that all humans are born with the ability to be attracted to both sexes. I mean, I could see myself in a relationship with a girl - Olivia Wilde is so sexy she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands. She’s mesmerising. And lately I’ve been obsessed with Jenna Jameson, but … oh boy.”

Her issue of the mag has two sultry cover poses – but only one of them comes with the stamp of approval from the Transformers star.

That’s the tongue-across-the-teeth, barely-there-bikini picture gracing the October issue of GQ, in which Fox, 22, makes no apologies about her movie roles.

”If I get stuck doing comic book films for the rest of my life, I’ll be really happy,” she tells the magazine. “I love those types of movies. And I don’t mind being sexy – if it’s a character with a back story and an arc and something progresses.”

Of posing for the magazine, Fox says:

“I am very excited to be involved with GQ, as it is such a great magazine.”

Rachel Bilson In Page Six Magazine

rachel-bilson-page-six-magazine.jpg

Page Six Magazine has a special Fashion Issue out this week and gracing the cover is sexy actress Rachel Bilson.

In her interview with the mag she reveals her love for Coco Chanel and Hayden Christensen - and how she’s making it easy for copycats to steal her look in her new role as a designer.

The 27-year-old former star of The O.C. is recognized for her eclectic sense of style, which has also landed her in the crosshairs of the fashion police:

“I think it’s cool to be on the worst-dressed list. If people aren’t accepting, that’s OK. Bring it on, I don’t care!”

Her passion for fashion had led her to unveil a new clothing line, Edie Rose (named after her late grandmother), debuting on DKNY Jeans.

She admits she can’t sew, and says she:

“came with some pictures, a couple pieces of my own clothes and some ideas in my head. It’s simple with one pop of color, which is like me.”

Rachel credits her style to her mother, Janice, a spiritual adviser, adding:

”Vintage is her love, she has a great eye, which I think I’ve inherited from her.”

Up next for Rachel is an abstract film collection of New York City stories due out next February titled New York, I Love You, in which she co-stars with current boyfriend Hayden Christensen.

“I’m happy and that’s all that matters. I have someone really great. Someone who can make me laugh-that’s always what comes first. It’s the best to be able to really, like, truly laugh with someone like they’re your best friend, you know?”

As far as her ex-costar/ex-boyfriend Adam Brody?

“They say don’t date your co-star, but that’s who you’re around. If you’re in an office, and you see someone everyday and you click well, you’ll start dating. It’s the same thing.”

For more on Rachel Bilson, check out this week’s issue of Page Six Magazine, free inside the Sunday (September 7, 2008) edition of the New York Post and online on Monday at http://www.nypost.com/pagesixmag/issues/20080831/.

“The obvious person is not the person at all”

On being a pop star:

Carrie Underwood Allure Magazine September 2008

carrie-underwood-allure.jpg

Carrie Underwood is looking gorgeous on the cover of September’s Allure Magazine. Here’s a few highlights from the issue..

On an unfaithful guy in her past:

“I don’t want to name names, even though he probably deserves it, but he fooled around,” she tells the magazine. “Oh, yeah, and lied! It was one of those things that everyone knew but me. He was a good liar. Nobody would come out and tell me. And he seemed perfect in every way.”

On splitting from Chace Crawford of “Gossip Girl”:

“We didn’t have a fight. No one cheated. It plain didn’t work.”

On how being famous makes dating harder:

“You never really know why somebody wants to be around you, or if they do genuinely like you,” Underwood — the winner of the fourth season of American Idol — tells Allure magazine in its September issue. “I wish everyone had a label on their forehead so you could automatically tell their intentions. Sometimes you just wish that no one wanted anything from you.”

On how her ex Tony Romo, who is currently dating Jessica Simpson, still calls her sometimes, but she doesn’t always pick up the phone:

“The phone will ring and it’ll be him, and I’ll maybe not answer. We were both small town people doing very big things, and we relied on each other, dealing with fame.”

The issue hits newsstands August 19th.

Kate Hudson W Magazine

kate-hudson-w-magazine.jpg

Wow, Kate Hudson looks nothing like Kate Hudson on the cover of W Magazine. It’s a really cool picture, but it’s not the Kate we all know and love..or love to hate if you’re not a fan

Here’s a few quotes from the interview:

On spending her 20’s taking care of her son rather than partying it up:

“Am I gonna look back and say, God, I wish I could have gone to that… that… concert? I’d rather be listening to my son sing songs. I’d rather be watching him sleep.”

On her personal life being in the spotlight:

“It’s so hard for me, because I’m so open, to hold back. I could really just go on forever about this stuff. We can talk about Chris till the dogs come home. I married Chris, I had a baby with Chris, Chris will be in my life for the rest of my life. But everything else—I’ve learned that things are better left private until you’re actually planning the wedding.”

Robert Downey Jr Rolling Stone Magazine August 2008

robert-downey-jr-rolliing-stone.jpg

Robert Downey Jr. is on the cover of August’s Rolling Stone Magazine. In the issue he talks about his struggle with addiction and his new life as a big-budget leading man. Here’s a few select quotes:

“I’m such a work in progress at the moment, it’s crazy, and life wants me on edge, I swear to you. But as long as I don’t forget the past, I’m cool. One must always be mindful, just like you might forget that old girlfriend who tried to slit your throat, but she’s really still hot. If you remember the stitches more than you remember the pussy, you’re going to be just fine.”

On this ‘transition phase’:

“I’m between two phases right now, pre-Iron Man and post-Iron Man, and the transition can be tricky,” he says, shifting and smoking. “It used to be, I’d drive onto a studio lot, and the guard was like, ‘Less Than Zero dude, I loved Chaplin!’ Now it’s, ‘Iron Man!’ It’s not an algorithm anymore. It’s a fixed number. Things have been zeroed out; it’s the beginning of something. But right now, it’s still a void, and we tend to think of the void as an abyss or a vacuum with nothing there. In fact, it’s a new road, and what you should do on this new road is close for repairs — close right away, because that old vehicle is not going to work on that new road. I mean, if the cosmos is a loving, healing thing that also spins real fast and erupts and does violent stuff, and if there really is some kind of order to the whole thing, then everything that’s led up to this moment has to be part of it, or the math doesn’t work. But in this transition phase, I really am trying to live as much like a lizard as I can. Hot, rock, sun, fly, tongue.”

On his phone ringing non-stop:

“Right now, my BlackBerry is literally overloading and crashing, and the phone is never not ringing,” he says as he takes it out and turns it off. “It’s crazy. Like a Super Bowl. Like a landslide. Like nothing I’ve ever experienced.”

On his ’job’:

“I’m not an actor. It’s my day job, and I learned how to hustle it really good. [But] it’s a hustle. I got some fuckin’ juice, man, I got some tools. . . . I learned some shit. I learned shit on the streets. It was providence, dude, and proximity to where I could get my grift on. . . . This is fuckin’ gypsy heaven, dude — there’s a million suckers out here.”

The new issue of Rolling Stone hits newsstands Aug. 8.

OK! Magazine’s Matthew McConaughey Interview And First Pictures Of His Son

matthew-mcconaughey-ok.jpg

Here is the first picture of Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves son Levi Alves McConaughey. OK! Magazine has the exclusive pictures and interview in thier latest issue. Levi was welcomed to the world on July 7. Here’s some highlights from the interview:

On the delivery: “We found a great rhythm. Contractions started kicking in. I sat there with her, right between her legs. We got tribal on it, we danced to it! I was DJ-ing this Brazilian music.”

“I have it all chronicled. Becoming a dad is something I’ve dreamed of doing since I was 10. Becoming a father felt very, very natural. We were jamming! She was sweating. No painkiller, let’s go. She just clicked into that gear that only a woman has at a time like this. We’d been up for 40-something hours, and we went from dead tired to a really steadfast, ‘Let’s handle this… let’s stay in the rhythm. Don’t let the contraction be more than you.’”

“We ended up having an epidural because, on the large contractions, the umbilical cord was being compressed. They went in and tried the vacuum. This is where I learned — and no one tells you this — but having a baby is a bloody, pukey, sweaty, primeval thing! And I mean that as a beautiful thing. It is wild. But the vacuum didn’t work, and the doctor said, ‘C-section.’

On finding out the sex of the little guy: “I said, ‘Come here, little man. I saw the pecker and screamed that we’d been right all along about him being a boy. Then I brought him over to her [Camila].

“It was neat to find out what the sex was because we didn’t have the doctor tell us beforehand.”

On who he looks like: “Everybody thinks he looks like me because of the hair and skin tone.” Camila says. “I think he looks more like Matthew every day.”

And Matthew adds, “I’ve pulled out some baby pictures of myself, and the resemblance is amazing. This kid has a lot to learn from us. I want him to come out being a little wiser, a little cooler and a little happier than we are.”

Penelope Cruz W Magazine

penelope-cruz_w-magazine.jpg

Penelope Cruz is looking extremely gorgeous on the cover of W Magazine.

One of her quotes that stands out from her interview is on celebrity gossip. She says:

“I think it’s disgusting. It’s dangerous and nasty, and bad for our society in so many ways. And it’s getting worse every day. It affects me directly, but I really believe that this culture of gossip affects our society on a much deeper level, on an ethical level. It’s what kids see and hear every day, and it will affect future generations in ways that we cannot even imagine.”

Penelope currently has 3 movies in the works:

Nine (2009) (pre-production)
Abrazos rotos, Los (2009) (filming)
G-Force (2009) (post-production) (voice)

Jessica Alba OK! Magazine Interview And Photoshoot With Honor Marie

jessica-alba-baby-ok.jpg

Here is the magazine cover for OK! Magazine’s world exclusive with the first pictures of Jessica Alba, her husband Cash Warren and their new baby daughter Honor Marie .

There’s a nice article and lots of quotes from the new mom. Here’s a few highlights:

On her natural birth:

“I didn’t scream. It was really Zen.” And Cash could only marvel at his wife’s quiet strength when she gave birth. “She didn’t make a sound,” he says. “It was amazing.”

“The labor was more like meditation,” she says. “I did yoga breathing. I was focused.”

On working on losing the baby weight:

“I started working out last Thursday, but for 20 minutes. I do cardio on my own. I’m doing it slow,” she says. “Now I’m starting to eat more healthy. Because after working out, having fried chicken and mashed potatoes is a little counteractive.”

On who Honor looks like:

“She looks like a girl version of me,” Cash says. “She has my nose, my eyebrows and my…”

“Forehead and dimples,” Jessica finishes, adding, “She has my mouth when I was a baby. And my ears.”

“Maybe Honor is a mixture,” Cash reconsiders. “I want her to look like me, because a daughter looking like Jessica, I’d kill myself!”

Scarlett Johansson And Natalie Portman Do W Magazine

Check it out. Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman are the cover of W Magazine. They are together to promote their new drama The Other Boleyn Girl.
Scarlett looks a bit freaky, maybe like she’s trying too hard. Natalie looks amazing. The cover reminds me of Halloween with all the blacks and oranges and dark make-up
