Tobey Maguire, 33, and his wife Jennifer Meyer, 31, are expecting baby #2 in the spring.

The happy couple are parents to two-year-old daughter Ruby.

Tobey Maguire Back For Spiderman 4 & 5 With ‘Family Time’ Included In The Contract

Tobey Maguire, 33, scores one for all the working daddies out there in Hollywood.

He has negotiated his deal to star in Spiderman 4 & 5, scoring family time with his young daughter as part of his contract.

He will be shooting the two movies back to back next year over a period of six months but insisted he should take early mornings and evenings off so he could play with his “favorite blonde”, Ruby Sweetheart, who is 22 months old. A friend of Tobey’s said last week:

“Tobey admits he is obsessive-compulsive about everything he does, and raising Ruby is no different. There’s no way Tobey would allow work, no matter how well paid, to get between him and Ruby, and Sony realized that.”

Sony, which declined to comment, is thought to have been wary of allowing ‘family time’ because it could set a precedent. Finally its chairman, Amy Pascal, herself a mother, stepped in, saying six months without family time would not be fair on any parent.

The pay package is estimated to be $50 million for both films.

In other Spiderman news, within the next few days Sony is expected to reveal whether Kirsten Dunst, 26, will be returning as Maguire’s on-screen love interest, Mary Jane Watson.

Tobey Maguire's Pregnant

Tobey Maguire is going to have a second kid. Spiderman's wife Jennifer Meyer is pregnant with the follow-up to daughter Ruby. Jennifer is due in early October.

"Jen and Tobey are over-the-moon happy," a friend says. "Since they already have a daughter, they would love a little boy, but of course they would be just as thrilled with another daughter."

Well, it's good to know that they're not going to throw the baby out into the trash if it's a girl. These Hollywood types can pull some strange shit. The couple are reportedly building a new house on a parcel of land in Brentwood that they bought for 10 million.

These two seem like your average couple. I like that about them. They make you feel like you could see them out pushing a stroller at the park, or making plans for a play date with your kid. Of course, the stroller is solid gold and the play date is in Disneyland, which they had shut down to use but still - they seem down-to-earth for millionaires.
