Renee Zellweger: I am not seeing Uma Thurman's Ex

Renee Zellweger has rubbished reports she’s seeing Uma Thurman’s ex Andre Balazs.

The actress was spotted having dinner with the 51-year-old hotelier in Manhattan, sparking rumours of romance.

But a spokesman insists they’re not together.

‘Renee is single and not dating anyone,’ he tells People.

Renee, 39, married country singer Kenny Chesney in 2005 but the marriage was annulled after just 4 months.

Uma, 38, split from Andre in March 2007. She is now engaged to financier Arpad Busson, 45.

Bridget Jones actress says she found two lumps

Renee Zellweger has revealed she had a cancer scare 12 years ago.

The actress was worried when she found two lumps in her breasts during self examination.

‘I thought, “Oh, I know what you do now. You find out what that is.” So I went and found out,’ she tells Self magazine.

‘I was like, “Let's just have it over with. Get in there, stab away, get your little crunchy bit or whatever you're looking for, put it in the mail and we'll call it a day.”

'Then I had a weird couple of days waiting for the phone call.’

Renee, 39, was later diagnosed with fibroadenomas - benign breast tumours – which she describes as ‘a fancy word for nothing.’

But she says the experience changed her: 'I pay attention, I do get my check-ups.’

Renee Zellweger and new dad Brad Pitt at Toronto for Western Premiere

Taking her second trip down the red carpet this year, actress Renee Zellweger stepped out with not one but two of Hollywood's leading men for the showing of her latest film, Appaloosa.

Elegant in a classic LBD, the Oscar-winning actress was in Toronto with handsome co-stars Viggo Mortensen and Ed Harris, who also directed the western.

Following two friends hired to defend a town from a murderous rancher, Appaloosa sees Renee star as an attractive widow who tries to win over the two men. It's a role she relished.

"I enjoyed it," she reveals. "It would have been complicated if I lived in that period. Complicated and interesting."

Also in the Canadian city on Friday, was new dad Brad Pitt, who arrived with his Burn After Reading co-stars Tilda Swinton and John Malkovich for the screening of their film – much to the delight of the crowds.

The actor took the opportunity to dismiss speculation his partner, Angelina Jolie, was unwell after the birth of their twins, Knox and Vivienne, in July.

"All good. Everyone's healthy, and everyone's great," he told an interviewer, adding, "Sleep is something we long for, but that's alright, we'll get it."

Quote Of The Day

renee-zelweger.jpg

“I know that sounds so crazy, but I really cherish it when someone is mean, because they’re just having a bad day and they don’t recognize that you know Tom Cruise, and so they don’t alter their behavior in any way. I love it.”

~ Renee Zellweger on enjoying it when people are rude to her because it makes her feel ‘normal’
