Jonas Brothers to make big screen debut

Teens stars Kevin, Joe and Nick join up with little brother Frankie for new movie

The Jonas Brothers have signed up to star in the Farrelly Brothers' new film.

The teen stars will be joined by their younger brother Frankie, 8, in Walter the Farting Dog, reports Variety.

The film casts Kevin, 21, Joe, 18, and Nick, 16, as musicians forced to care for their sick aunt's smelly pet.

The trio recently starred in the Disney channel's hit TV movie Camp Rock and are also currently preparing for their own series J*O*N*A*S.

Jonas Brothers: Rather concentrate on work than girls

Kevin Jonas has revealed that he and his brothers would rather concentrate on work than women.

'We love to date, but it’s almost impossible with our schedule,’ says the Jonas Brothers star.

‘We’re on the road at least 265 days a year so forming any significant relationship with someone is too difficult.’

But if he were to take someone out, would he love to date? 'Cheryl Cole is amazing. I think she's the perfect woman. She's beautiful,' he gushes.

Kevin, 20, and brothers Joe, 19, and Nick, 15, are devout Christians who wear purity rings – showing they want to remain virgins until marriage.

‘The rings are a constant reminder to live a life with values,’ Kevin tells The Sun. ‘It’s a personal thing.'

Jonas Brothers: We'd spend our lives with our biggest fan

The Jonas Brothers have revealed that they would date a fan – despite previously saying it's not something they'd do.

The boy band, who star in Disney movie Camp Rock, say they're all still looking for their dream women.

‘We have already dated fans or girls that are not celebrities,’ they write on their MySpace blog.

‘In fact, we really like to believe that the girl we will spend our lives with will be our biggest fan.’

But Kevin, 20, Joe, 19, Nick, 15 – who all wear chastity rings – won’t reveal if any of them are dating at the moment.

‘It is our rule to not talk about our personal lives, especially who we are dating,’ they say. ‘The same would be true if we were dating you.’

Last month, teen star Miley Cyrus, 15, admitted she had dated Nick for 2 years.

The Jonas Brothers react to Russell Brand

Despite the rest of Hollywood jumping to their defence, it seems that the Jonas Brothers themselves weren't offended by Russel Brand's ribbing at the MTV VMAs.

Russel has since apologised for mocking the pop trio's decision to wear purity rings which show they are saving themselves for marriage.

Nick jonas told the BBC: "For us it's cool to see that he recognises we are gentleman."

He even went on to compliment Brand, adding: "I think he did a good job. We saw him on Conan O'Brien and thought he was hilarious."

Kevin added that the awards's host didn't 'ruin' their night in the slightest: "We had a lot of friends there and everybody's so nice. We had a good time."

Jonas Brothers land their own show on Disney

The Jonas Brothers have landed their very own show on the Disney Channel.

The singers, who appear in US flick Camp Rock, want to give fans an insight into their busy lives.
‘It's going to be about us as a band but dealing with normal things like trying to take out the trash and not get hounded by fans,’ Joe tells Elle magazine.

‘It's going to be a funny show, and it's going to be a great cast.

'The writers are working on it as we speak, so we should be seeing scripts any day. I'm really excited.’

Kevin, 20, Joe, 19, and Nick, 15, won't start filming until mid-September.

Meanwhile, Madonna’s daughter Lourdes, 11, has her heart set on watching the band at London’s Hammersmith Apollo next Thursday.

‘She’s a massive fan of the boys,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

It's All Jonas Bros. On Album Charts

U.S. "tween" sensations the Jonas Brothers have scored their first No. 1 album with "A Little Bit Longer", Billboard.com reported Wednesday.

Even though the brothers' top ranking on the weekly Billboard 200 chart was expected, the numbers still impressed industry analysts, with 517,000 copies sold last week in the United States, as measured by Nielsen SoundScan.

Billboard also pointed out the Jonas Brothers have pulled off a rare feat of having two albums simultaneously in the top tier of the chart. Their self-titled second album rose to 10th with 31,000 copies sold in its 54th chart week. The newspaper said that hasn't happened since since 'N Sync did it in 1999 with "Home for Christmas" at No. 10 and "'N Sync" at No. 2.

And as if that weren't enough, the young trio make a third Top 10 album chart appearance with the soundtrack to the Disney film "Camp Rock", in which they star. The soundtrack maintained its No. 8 for a second week with 50,000 copies sold, Billboard said.

Billboard said the soundtrack to "Mamma Mia!", last week's chart-topper, slid

Jonas Brothers' hate girls who nag

The Jonas Brothers hate girls who nag.

The 'S.O.S.' singers - brothers Kevin, 20, Joe, 18 and Nick, 15 - have ruled out ever dating someone who moans all the time.

Kevin said: "We're not ever really with people because we're always travelling. And you get on the phone and they're like, 'My day is awful, blah,' and you're like, 'This is not what I need right now!' "

Nick, who previously dated 'Hannah Montana' star Miley Cyrus and is now romancing Selena Gomez, also insists he wouldn't consider getting involved with a girl unless she has a healthy relationship with her mother.

He added to MTV show 'TRL': "They have to be good to their moms."

Meanwhile, Joe has revealed the musical trio have met with comic star Ben Stiller to discuss working on a film together.

He said: "We met him just recently. We were talking with him about doing a movie."

What It Takes To Date a Jonas Brother

The Jonas Brothers give the lowdown on dating deal breakers and what qualities they look for in potential girlfriends.

Joe Jonas—who is reportedly dating country music star Taylor Swift—told TRL on Wednesday he hates it when girls “are nagging and annoying.”

His solution?

“[I’m] like, ‘Go Away,’”

As for his older brother Kevin, he tells viewers his pet peeve is when his ladies “get on the phone and [are] like, ‘My day is awful, blah,’ and you’re like, ‘This is not what I need right now!’”

The littlest Jo Bro, 15-year-old Nick, has proven to be the biggest player of the crew first dating teen queen Miley Cyrus and then moving on to fellow Disney star Selena Gomez.

While the two girl’s battle it out for his affections, Nick maintains whoever he cuddles up to “[has] to be good to their moms.”

Whatever girl problems they may encounter, not much can keep these guys down.

The popular boy band’s latest album “A Little Bit Longer” dropped on Tuesday and is slated to sell 725,000 the first week helping the brothers score their first No. 1 album.

Jonas Brothers' fan disbelief

The Jonas Brothers say fans often don't believe they are related.

The 'S.O.S.' singers - brothers Kevin, 20, Joe, 18 and Nick, 15 - have revealed their fans continually ask whether they are actually from the same family after rumours surfaced claiming they are not related.

Kevin said: "People seriously ask us all the time, 'Are you guys really brothers?' "

Joe added to Rolling Stone magazine: "It's like, no, we named our band Jonas Brothers just for fun."

The trio also spoke about their love lives, with Joe admitting he still finds it strange when he hears other celebrities are attracted to him.

He explained: "It's funny when you find out there are other celebrities with crushes on you - like when I read that Lauren Conrad from 'The Hills' liked me."

Nick - who previously admitted he was "honoured" when he was romantically linked to 27-year-old US socialite Kim Kardashian - revealed he is still "very close" to Miley Cyrus, who he was rumoured to be dating.

He said: "We were neighbours when we were on tour together. It was good. Just really close. But it would crack me up ? I would read these stories online, people saying things that were completely untrue."
