Looks like someone likes what aspiring fashion designer Lauren Conrad has to offer.
The reality star will be designing at least one dress for next month’s Emmys which will be worn by one of the “trophy girls” who bring the awards onstage during the ceremony.
“I’m doing one. I may be doing two,” she told People magazine. “It’s a huge compliment to be asked to do that, and it was really amazing to be taken seriously.”
The Lauren Conrad Collection, which debuted at Kitson in West Hollywood, was dropped by the boutique in July, after only six months. Rumors circulated that the line was dropped because The Hills star failed to promote it.
“I didn’t even really respond to the rumors because they were so silly,” she told the magazine. “It was someone who knew how important the line is to me and knew that that would hurt me.”
