Hayden Panettiere’s mom could’ve used a hero this weekend.
The actress’ dad, Alan Panettiere, was arrested for hitting the her mom, Lesley, at a party Sunday night.
A spokesperson for the West Hollywood police told CelebTV.com, “He [Alan Panettiere] is in custody for spousal assault. She [Lesley Panettiere] called the sheriffs station, and the responding deputy called the paramedics. She refused medical treatment and was hit more than once on the cheek while they were arguing.”
The officer added, “Alan was upset because he felt disrespected at a party, they argued, he hit her multiple times, he left. I don’t know if Hayden was there or who else was in the house.”
Papa Panettiere did not give a statement to the police.
The Heroes star and her mom Lesley were seen arriving at Eva Longoria’s restaurant, Beso, for the party earlier Sunday night.
