Angelina Jolie is struggling to cope with new twins Vivienne and Knox

Fragile and crying, Angelina's falling apart

Angelina Jolie is struggling to cope with new twins Vivienne and Knox.

The actress, 33, has collapsed twice in the past fortnight and is now receiving emergency medical treatment as she’s on the brink of cracking up completely. Angelina’s so fragile that she’s sobbing uncontrollably and acting hysterically.

Frantic doctors have diagnosed her with exhaustion and partner Brad Pitt, 44, has been left to pick up the pieces.

Our source says: ‘She’s in tears up to three times a day and so tired that Brad’s found her collapsed asleep in the bath twice.

‘She’s been working around the clock, breast-feeding the babies and trying to get them to sleep. But as soon as one of them drops off, the other wakes up for another feed.

‘She’s also not eating very much right now and blames that on being busy. The doctor says that she needs more calories to gain strength and ensure that her breast milk is healthy.’

Brad’s trying to help where he can, but the other children – Maddox, seven, Pax, four, Zahara, three, and Shiloh, two – all still want their mother’s attention.
Angelina Jolie’s support team

1. Angelina has two full-time live-in nannies who do 12-hour shifts.

2. Two more nannies have been hired until the twins are a year old.

3. Brad’s parents Bill and Jane have been helping, as has Angelina’s brother James Haven.

4. There are three part-time local nannies, who work on a 24/7 rota: 3-11pm, 11pm-7am and 7am-3pm.

5. Brad and their medical team want to hire a skilled nurse to stay for six weeks.
