Katherine Heigl reaveal's secret to finding the perfect partner

Katherine Heigl has revealed her secret to finding the perfect partner: believe in yourself.

The 27 Dresses star, who married musician Josh Kelley, 28, last December, thinks you shouldn't work too hard at attracting a man.

'My advice to someone looking for Mr Right? Never try too hard,' she says. 'I wouldn’t pursue any guy who didn’t really show interest. I felt in that case I should move on and find someone else who was more interested.'

Katherine, 29, met Josh when she starred in the video for his single Only You. And she thinks women these days should learn to respect themselves more.

'Any time you try too hard to get someone’s attention, it lessens your value,' she tells Now Celebrity Weddings. 'And all us girls should value ourselves.

Angelina Jolie: Stressed and upset at Brad for leaving her alone with the kids!

Brad Pitt was all smiles at the Venice Film Festival last month.

His relief at fleeing the chaotic family nest in the South of France was evident as he joked with George Clooney, promoting their new movie Burn After Reading. The pair then partied until nearly 3am at the Cipriani bar on nearby Giudecca island.

Brad, 44, had taken Maddox, 7, and Pax, 4, with him to Venice, but they were cared for by nannies that evening. The dad emerged in the small hours and told waiting reporters: ‘We’ve had a lot to drink.’

While Brad was living it up, stranded Angelina snapped and told him: ‘Stop walking out every time things get tough!’ Even with the help of her nannies she struggles to cope with twins Vivienne and Knox, who were born on 12 July, and needs Brad’s support more than ever.

According to friends, Angelina didn’t want Brad to go to Venice, but there was very little she could do to stop him. ‘It’s bound to be a difficult time with newborn twins and she wants him on hand to help,’ a source close to the couple tells Now.

It’s not the first time Brad’s bolted – on 10 August, the couple had a huge row and Brad skulked off to Bono’s property in Eze-Sur-Mer, which is also in the South of France. In the past few weeks, he’s been seen drinking with friends in a bar called Au Vieux Pressoir in the Brignoles area, while Angelina, 33, was left at home.

‘She’s furious,’ says the friend. ‘Angelina gets stuck at home with the kids – she can’t run out every time things get heated. Brad returns from these trips hoping she’ll be calmer, often finding that’s not the case.’

Sadly for Angelina, there’s more alone time on the horizon. Brad’s heading to Toronto for the Burn After Reading premiere later this week and will then be visiting Finland for the film’s opening in Helsinki on 18 September.

‘Ange’s hormones are raging and she takes everything the wrong way,' says Now's insider. 'It’s OK for Brad to let off steam, but walking out is no way to solve a row.'

Jennifer Lopez: Weight crisis tearing family apart!

After giviing birth to twins Max and Emme in February, renowed workaholic Jennifer Lopez has been training day and night for a triathlon she’s competing in on 14 September.

‘I thought: “What can I do to make my babies proud?”’ J-Lo revealed. ‘It’s very important for me to set an example for both of them.

‘If I have to crawl across that finish line, I’m going to. I keep telling myself when I’m training: “This is for charity. Don’t embarrass the family! Get it done, Lopez!”’

But behind her public positivity, the 39-year-old is suffering a weight crisis that’s starting to tear her family apart.

According to our source, she gained 55lb while pregnant and has lost 38lb so far. But she’s hit a wall trying to burn off the remaining stubborn pounds, no matter how much training she does.

And despite struggling to balance the challenges of motherhood, J-Lo’s refusing to reduce her gruelling exercise regime and rarely eats more than 1,000 calories a day.

Frantic husband Marc Anthony, 38, who’s had to bear the brunt of her moods, finally snapped and ordered her to consult a doctor. She was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid gland, which causes the body to ‘slow down’.

This means J-Lo has to try even harder and this pressure has had a knock-on effect at home. Even though she and Marc are madly in love, there have been some tense moments.

'Let's just say some of their discussions have been pretty explosive,' says our insider.

Britney Spears: Judge postponed singer's driving trial decision

Singer still doesn't know if she'll be charged for driving without a valid licence

An LA judge postponed delivering his decision yesterday on whether Britney Spears should stand trial for driving without a valid licence.

The singer’s lawyer had asked that the case be dismissed, arguing that she had a Louisiana licence when she was involved in a collision last year.

The prang, which was caught on tape by X17, happened in California – and the 26-year-old should have had a separate licence for that state.

Superior Court Judge James A Steele said he needs time to review the case before making his judgement, reports Access Hollywood.

Brit's lawyer Michael Flanagan says they will appeal if the case goes to trial.

Don LaFontaine: The King of the movie Voiceover dies at 68

Think of that much-parodied, thunderous "trailer voice" beloved of Hollywood studios and you'll be conjuring up the voice of Don LaFontaine, who died on Monday

You may not know the name, but you'll have heard the voice hundreds, if not thousands of times. Don LaFontaine, king of the movie voiceover, has died at the age of 68.

LaFontaine, who was known for habitually using the words "in a world" to preface his work on trailers, died at Cedar-Sinai medical center in Los Angeles of complications from a collapsed lung on Monday, according to ETonline. However that cause of death was not official at the time of this report.

LaFontaine's powerful tones appeared on more than 5,000 movie trailers and nearly 350,000 commercials. His website lists voiceovers for Terminator II: Judgement Day, Shrek, Minority Report and Dodgeball among his most famous work, and he had also worked as the in-house announcer at the Oscars and the Screen Actors Guild awards. He was credited as being the busiest ever member of the latter, based on the number of contracts signed in his working life.

LaFontaine had recently parodied himself on a series of US TV commercials for Geico. He was referred to as "that announcer guy from the movies" and stood in the background translating in LaFontaine-speak while a customer revealed her wonderful experience at the hands of the insurance company.

LaFontaine, who was born in Duluth, Minnesota, bgan his career as a recording engineer, but got his big break when he filled in for an absentee voice artist on the 1964 western Gunfighters of Casa Grande.

At his peak, he is said to have recorded more than 60 voiceovers in a week, and sometimes as many 35 in a single day. So busy was he that he employed a full-time chauffeur to ferry him from gig to gig. This, he said, saved him time as he didn't have to worry about parking in between jobs.

In latter years, with the advent of ISDN, LaFontaine recorded almost exclusively from a home studio at his estate in the Hollywood hills.

He is survived by his wife, the singer/actor Nita Whitaker and three children, Christine, Skye and Elyse.

Pussycat Dolls set to star in new musical movie

The Pussycat Dolls are reportedly set to star in a new musical movie loosely based on their lives.

The 'Don't Cha' singers - who are no strangers to flaunting their toned figures in raunchy music videos - are said to be considering scripts which focus on the history of the band and allow them to showcase their acting skills.

A source said: "The Pussycat Dolls are getting a lot of film scripts to look through at the moment. It's going to be semi-biographical, about their rise to fame, with loads of dancing and singing."

Lead singer Nicole Scherzinger - who has had small roles in hit US TV show 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch' and 2003 movie 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' - previously revealed she is keen to expand the band's empire, and is always interested in considering new opportunities.

She said: "We really want to take the Pussycat Dolls to the next level. One of the guests on our new album 'Doll Domination' is Timbaland, so you never know who might turn up."

Nicole is not the only member of the stunning girl group who has already experienced life on the big screen.

Ashley Roberts, 26, starred in dance movie 'Make It Happen' earlier this year.

If the project goes ahead, The Pussycat Dolls would be following in the footsteps of a host of other pop bands to appear in a film.

In 1997, the Spice Girls appeared in the universally-criticised 'Spice World', while British band McFly appeared as themselves in Lindsay Lohan's 2006 movie 'Just My Luck'.

Jessica: Tony Romo is the love of my life

Jessica Simpson gets a cover story in the upcoming People dedicated to how in love the reinvented country star is at the moment. In fact, she’s so in love right now, she doesn’t journal in black notebooks anymore—she uses pink and white ones.

The interview was like any other chronicling her love life, because that's all this girl seems to be about. Divorcing Nick Lachey was sad times, dating John Mayer was weird and Tony Romo is currently perfect.

About this perfect man, she has this to declare: “I just told him today, ‘You’re the love of my life.’ ” Oof, last time she said that about someone, it ended one of MTV's greatest reality shows.

But hey, she goes on to say her e-mail address and phone number have been changed to avoid any contact with the dreaded exes, so maybe we should just forget about them, too.

See, we really just want Jess to be happy—because when she’s happy, we’re happy. When she’s sad, we journal in black notebooks along with her, and when she wears a corset under her cowboy shirt at state fairs, we definitely do that, too.

Jennie Garth: 'Beverly Hills 90210' was worse then high school

Jennie Garth
says starring in 'Beverly Hills, 90210' was "worse than high school".

The blonde beauty - who reprises her role as Kelly Taylor in a new spin-off of the hit US TV show - admits the rivalry on set was almost unbearable.

She said: "There were times when being in the show was worse than high school. The environment there was like, 'Are you kidding me?' There was a lot of tension and unnecessary drama on the set, a certain amount of competition, and a certain, probably, anger about different salaries as the years progressed.

"People would find out how much someone was making, and then they'd be angry and want that, or if you got days off in your contract, they'd want that. Nobody was brave enough to step in and set us straight, and have a serious talk with us about it. There was a lot of tension directed from one specific person, and that one specific person had to reap the consequences from that."

Jennie - who starred in the original series from 1990 to 2000 - also revealed she developed agoraphobia, the fear of wide open spaces, while appearing on the show.

She added to The New York Times newspaper: "I started to develop whatever it is when you won't leave the house. That kind of phobia. I just started to really get a little freaked out by it all. I felt like everyone was always looking at me."

The Dark Knight becomes second movie in history making 250 million at box office

Batman sequel continues to break records

The Dark Knight has become the second movie in history to make more than £250million at the box office.

The film, which stars the late Heath Ledger, was the fastest flick to earn £200million since its release six weeks ago.

The only other motion picture to exceed this amount was 1997 hit Titanic, which raked in just over £300million.

Dan Fellman, head of distribution at Warner Bros, reckons The Dark Knight will make another £15million before it leaves the big screen.

‘I keep raising the number because it just keeps holding better than expected,’ he tells the Associated Press.

And actor Christian Bale, 34, who plays Batman in the sequel, is thrilled the movie is doing so well.

‘It's wonderful!’ he tells Us Weekly. ‘But I'm not a businessman.

'I just enjoy doing what I do and whatever happens after that is gravy.’
