Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri is the most important child in showbiz, according to a poll.

The two-year-old, who is often snapped out with her mum and dad in New York, has been named the Most Influential Celebrity Tot.

She even beat Angelina Jolie’s daughter Shiloh, 2, who came second in the survey compiled by Forbes magazine.

Her adopted kids Zahara, 3, and Pax, 4, came third and fourth respectively.

Golf star Tiger Woods’ little girl Sam rounded off the top five.

Other kids to make the cut include Cruz Beckham, 3, and Britney Spears’ son Sean Preston, 3.

Tom Cruise's Suri playroom

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes bought a New York apartment and turned it into a playroom for their daughter Suri.

The Hollywood couple have reportedly been purchasing several apartments in the 12-storey building, and thought two-year-old Suri could benefit from a bigger area to keep her toys in.

A source said: "Tom and Katie now keep five units in the building. They turned one into Suri's playroom. One they use for a gym, and two apartments are for staff. In the past couple of months they've bought up all these other apartments. They're all separate and on different floors."


However, while 'Mission: Impossible' star Tom has been attempting to mix with the neighbours, Katie - who is in the city starring in Broadway play 'All My Sons' - has been keeping to herself.

The source added to the New York Post newspaper: "Tom is seen coming in and out all the time, and he's really friendly to everyone he meets. But Katie just kind of keeps her head down. Everyone in the neighbourhood is buzzing about it."

A representative for the couple denied the claims.

Katie Holmes opens on Broadway for 'All My Sons'

The former Dawson's Creek star gets a congratulatory hug from a co-star at the curtain call of the opening night show of All My Sons.

The curtain officially rose on Katie Holmes' Broadway career this week as the Mad Money actress stepped onto the stage for the first public performance of post-WWII drama All My Sons.

Tom Cruise's wife, who was presented with a bouquet of blooms at the final curtain call, received a standing ovation for her portrayal of the daughter of a corrupt businessman in the Arthur Miller play. And the audience's positive reception was echoed in early reviews, which hailed her performance "stimulating" and "very provocative".

After taking a final bow Katie donned a white jumpsuit with lace detailing on the sleeves to attend an after-show party. While there was no sign of her famous husband - who attended her first preview performance - she was joined in celebrating the production's opening night success by her famous co-stars, Dianne West and 3rd Rock From The Sun star John Lithgow.

The standing ovation that Katie Holmes received for her first performance of All My Sons three weeks ago was a sign that all her hard work had paid off.

Husband Tom Cruise, 46, described her achievement as ‘extraordinary’, but behind the scenes 29-year-old Katie’s new-found love of New York has caused a growing rift between the pair.

‘Katie loves New York and considers it “her city”,’ a source tells Now.

‘Despite Tom’s firm belief that they should be in LA as that’s where the movie industry is, Katie’s enjoyed being with the grittier, more down-to-earth young actors she’s met in New York.

'It’s even transforming the way she dresses – she’s beginning to unveil more fashionable outfits whenever she’s out on her own. Compared to New York, she finds LA fake and unpleasant.’

The problem is that Tom wants her to return to LA in the New Year – but if Katie’s play has its Broadway run extended, friends say a power struggle is certain.

The premiere of Tom’s controversial Nazi film Valkyrie – which has already been put back by several months – is coming up in LA in February, but Katie’s play is set to run at least until January.

She looks years younger! Like the Katie we all know and love.

John Lithgow, who is also starring in the show posed for pics with Katie outside before the big show began and yes, Tom Cruise was there to suppert his old lady lovely wife.

Ok, so I kept my word and haven’t posted much of the pictures available daily of Katie Holmes coming and going from her rehearsals for her upcoming Broadway play ‘All My Sons’, and believe me there has been A LOT.

But I have a reason for posting this one, which was taken on Saturday. THAT BELLY! The pregnancy rumors started back up recently and the picture here gives more reason to believe them.

But on another note..her style has been just awful lately. Either she is trying too hard or not hard enough. What is she thinking??!

The friends are both promoting clothing lines at the event, which begins on 5 September.

Katie will debut her Holmes-Yang range – designed with stylist Jeanne Yang – on the catwalk. Posh, 33, will be holding a private viewing of her new dVb collection.

Katie, 29, recently previewed one of her designs on the red carpet at the premiere of Tropic Thunder (below).

Mel B, 33, will also be at the shows representing Ultimo lingerie.

Katie Holmes steps out in Tom's battered jeans again

If anyone's perfected the Hollywood consort look Katie Holmes has, with regular head-turning appearances on the red carpet and in US style bibles. But while she's in rehearsals for her Broadway stage debut, Tom Cruise's wife is getting to grips with a different look - that of the New York thesp.

In an ensemble that could have been put together by one of the Olsen twins, Katie wore a black t-shirt, fedora hat and low-slung jeans, which made her look very much part of the Big Apple's arty scene.

The actress has worn variations on this casual look most days as she walks to the Manhattan studio where she's preparing her role in the Arthur Miller play All My Sons.

But Tom may be regretting his leading lady's change of sartorial direction. The couple's stylist has revealed that the well-worn jeans Katie favours have been nabbed from her husband's wardrobe. And with her looking this comfortable in them, she may take her time before returning them.

‘I can’t deny it. I am who I am,’ she says.

‘I’m not a smooth type of girl, I run into things, I trip, I spill food, I say stupid things, I really don’t have it all together.

'But I’m working on it, I really am!’

And Katie, who is married to actor Tom Cruise, 46, says she wasn't popular at her all-girls school because she looked out of place.

‘I was very tall, gawky and skinny,’ she tells OK! ‘I really focused on my school studies.

'In hindsight I think we missed out socially. We came out of school and it was suddenly: “Oh, my God! Boys!"'

Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and adorable little Suri were all out for a walk together on Friday after Katie left rehersals for her Broadway debut in All My Sons.

The happy family are enjoying some time together now that they are living on opposite sides of the country with Katie busy with rehersals in New York and Tom is keeping things in check out in California.

I must add that her new shorter hair cut is definitely growing on me. It looks cute when she does a little something with it.

Katie Holmes Designed Her Own Red-Carpet Dress

Katie Holmes is definitely expanding her range these days.

In addition to prepping for her Broadway debut in All My Sons in New York City this week, the actress created her own red-carpet frock for the Monday night premiere of hubby Tom Cruise’s new movie, Tropic Thunder. (Tom has a cameo in the flick, as a foul-mouthed studio boss.)

For her first crack at designing, Holmes, 29, joined forces with her stylist, Jeanne Yang, to create the hot blue halter dress she wore to the movie’s L.A. premiere, her rep told People magazine.

Fans have given the form-fitting frock a thumbs up, but her rep says Katie doesn’t have a fashion line in the works.

Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes To Team Up On The Big Screen In Food Fight

Power couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are reportedly considering starring in new comedy movie together called ‘Food Fight’.

The happy couple, who have a two-year-old daughter Suri together, are rumored to be about to make their first on-screen appearance together in the film, which tells the story of an arrogant New York chef who is forced to cook in a school cafeteria. According to Chicago Sun Times columnist Bill Zwecker, Tom is being lined up for the role of the chef, while Katie will play a teacher or member of staff in the cafeteria.

A source at Universal Pictures, who are in charge of the film which is being scripted by ‘Definitely, Maybe’ writer Adam Brooks, refused to confirm the reports, adding:

“That’s news to me!”

If the movie does go ahead, it won’t be the first time Tom will have acted alongside his real-life love interest. Tom met future wife Nicole Kidman on the set of ‘Days of Thunder’ in 1990. The pair later teamed up for ‘Far and Away’ and ‘Eyes Wide Shut’. Tom also dated his ‘Vanilla Sky’ co-star Penelope Cruz.

Katie Holmes’ Latest Style? Hubby Tom Cruise’s Jeans

You don’t know someone until you’ve walked in their shoes—or for Katie Holmes, worn their jeans.

The 29-year-old actress has recently been spotted wearing Tom Cruise’s jeans to walk the streets of New York. Katie usually sports her hubby’s baggy pants peg-legged, with flats.

The couple’s stylist, Jeanne Yang, told Us magazine that the tight-rolled jeans are Prps brand denim.

“Prps has adapted the style for women in the new fall collection as the Boyfriend jean,” the rep said.

“It’s the new look Katie is going for,” a source told the magazine.

The former Dawson’s Creek star will make her Broadway debut next month in the stage version of All My Sons. The show will also star John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson.

Jordan's already mum to three kids but she and husband Peter Andre hope to have an even bigger family.

'I’m definitely going to adopt,' she tells Now. 'I want to take on a disabled child. I know people will say: "Oh, why should she have a disabled child?" But I want to do it because I’m not afraid.

'I think I would know how to handle it and the challenge of, you know, stimulating the child and just bringing it on, basically.'


The 30-year-old, whose partially-sighted son Harvey, 6, was born with septo-optic dysplasia, also plans to get pregnant again - several times.

'I will have lots of kids,' she reveals. 'If Pete had it his way I’d be pregnant every bloody year.'

Despite her busy family life, Jordan still has time for show-jumping and writing.

Her 17th novel Angel Uncovered - an erotic tale about a topless model who marries a footballer - is in the shops now.

‘I never thought there was a chance that I’d write so many books,’ she admits. ‘But what’s been brilliant is that they’ve all been No 1 bestsellers.’
