Kanye West Arrested At LAX

Kanye West has just been arrested at LAX for felony vandalism.

A photographer was trying to take pics of Kanye at the terminal when according to a source, Kanye allegedly confronted the photog and smashed his camera to the ground.

TMZ’s photographer has the video and it will be posted shortly on their site. I will put a link up to it when it’s there. In the mean time, here is what their photog Erik says happened:

Erik says he was at Terminal 4 (American Airlines) when he noticed a still photog taking several pictures of Kanye West. Erik says West rushed the photog and grabbed his camera. A struggle ensued and the still guy was screaming, “Police, help!” Erik says Kanye then took the still camera and threw it on the ground, breaking it into pieces.

Erik then went over to Kanye, his camera rolling, when Kanye’s body guard walked up to him, realized Erik was taping, and said, “Give me the camera, give me the camera.” Erik responded that he had a press pass and had a right to shoot. The assistant then grabbed the camera, ripped off the mic and viewfinder and smashed it to the ground.

Erik says Kanye then tried to leave to board his plane, but cops stopped him before he got to security. The cops then interviewed Erik, the still photog, Kanye and his assistant..

This is where it gets crazy. The cops asked Erik if he videotaped the incident and Erik said he had. That’s when Kanye lunged toward him and said, “Give me the fu***ng videotape.” Cops had to restrain Kanye as he tried coming at Erik.

Kanye West Wants To Help You Be Just Like him

Back in February it was announced that Kanye West signed on as the new face of Absolut Vodka alongside Common and Just Blaze.

The campaign is billed as “In An Absolut World” and features the three rappers sharing their “visions and testimonials” of their lives in the Absolut World.

Kanye West has since taken the campaign a bit farther and has developed a new fake drug that can ‘help fans be more like him.’

West promotes the new tablet hoax in a spoof liquor commercial. (See below)

Kanye appears in the online viral ad for Absolut Vodka - made with the co-operation of the firm - pushing fake dissolvable pills he calls ‘Be Kanye Tablets.’

In the ad, West asks the audience, “How many times have you told yourself, ‘I feel famous and powerful on the inside, but nobody sees it that way on the outside’?”

The pills, he promises, will “unleash the superstar inside you.”

The whole advertisment is like an infomercial gone bad which directs your attention to the website: BeKanyeNow.com which has a countdown clock (approx 3 days left) that is likely to explain the campaign in full. One of the quotes on there says:

“After I discovered Be KANYE tablets it was nothing but smiles.”
